You can now take a Beauty and the Beast themed European Cruise across the Rhine river! From castles to countryside and the quaint French village that was Belle’s hometown, the 2017 movie starring Emma Watson showcased several picturesque settings. And soon you will be able to experience these locations. 

Adventures by Disney has announced that they will soon be offering a fairytale inspired cruise along the Rhine river. The cruises have been scheduled for 2018 and will take visitors to all the major destinations in which the latest Beauty and the Beast was shot in. The eight-day cruise starts in Basal, Switzerland and ends in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Stops of the cruise include Strasbourg, France; Mannheim, Germany; Rudesheim, Germany; and Cologne, Germany.

It has also been confirmed that Riquewihr, France will be a part of the itinerary of the cruise offered by Adventures by Disney. The small and quaint medieval town situated in northeastern France is dotted with modest homes, cobblestone streets and architecture dating back to the 13th-century. This town was a major inspiration for the settings in the movie and visitors can relive the story of Belle and the Best. The best part – you can chose to go horse riding in Riquewihr!

Beauty and the Beast inspired European Cruise destinations

As per the details revealed by Adventures by Disney, guests will cruise on the ships AmaKristina or AmaStella. On-board activities will be centered around the ‘tale as old as time’ theme including a Beauty and the Beast themed dinner. There will also be a movie screening and karaoke aboard the ship! Other itinerary options include tours of castles, museums and churches. While other stops of the cruise include Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Cabinet Museum, which holds a collection of musical boxes.
