5 Fun activities to do when in Malaysia

Malaysia is a known for the capital city of Kuala Lumpur and attracts thousands of tourists every year. The city and the country is not just known for its different colors and cultures but also has a number activities for the tourists that they can love. Malaysia has a population of Chinese as well as Indians and that reflects on its architecture. There are a number of activities for the tourists including hiking, diving, shopping and even sampling local food. 1. Sunbath in Langkawi – For those who wish to have some privacy can head to the Langkawi Island. The place is best for the honeymooners and backpackers and also suits for all the budgets. The best part is that the Island has a status of being duty free so that the visitors can come and collect plenty of souvenirs to be taken back home.

2. Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur – The Petronas Towers is one of the iconic sights in the world and are known as the Petronas Twin due to the fact that they come in a pair. The main attraction of the building is the sky walk that goes over the bridge that joins them together. The visitors had a great time as they enjoy a spectacular view from the sky walk.

3. Hiking at Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park – It is a collection of five islands which is found off the coast in East Malaysia. The island can be accessed from a ferry and is best for people who are interested in hiking and trekking. Some of the islands like the Sulung Island still remain untouched while the island like Gaya remain busier.

4. Meet Orangutans at Sepilok – Sepilok orangutans can be found outside the city of Sandakan which is the first rehabilitation centre for the orangutans. The place was opened during the 1960s and the focus of the centre was to rescue the orangutans who are orphaned.
