While a number of countries across the globe are facing a resurgence of COVID-19 cases, the economy continues to dwindle with a translucent visibility. Despite the circumstances, it is essential for the nations to find ways to recover its economy and allow a cash flow in every possible way. To facilitate this, a few nations are now open for tourism with a few rules and regulations in place. Below is the list of latest countries that have opened for the tourists or might be open at some point of time in the month of October, 2020.
1.Ukraine – Tourists can enter the country with a negative COVID-19 test result within 48 hours prior to their arrival or people from the red zone countries like the US could be quarantined. However, most of the countries are on the green zone list. People who arrive from red zone could be allowed if they have not been in the red zone 14 days before. Tourists must also download the contact tracing app on their phones.
2. Panama – Tourists entering this country need to have a negative COVID-19 test result within 48 hours or upon arrival. They can also get themselves tested at the airport on arrival which is great as a number of travelers might find it tough to get a test result in such a short period of time. However the cost of the test at the airport is not known and will have to be paid by the passenger travelling.
3. El Salvador – The picturesque place can be visited by the tourists by having a negative test taken within 72 hours. Out of all the countries, it has been open for the longest and its protocol seems to be working well so far.
4. Uganda – To visit Uganda, tourists need to have a negative test taken within 72 hours of arrival. They will also need to test negative before their departure. The country also has a national curfew between 9 pm and 6am. But if the tourists have a flight between these hours then they are allowed to go.
