5 Spiritual Destinations Around The World

Mecca, Saudi Arabia

No “spiritual” or “religious” list can be complete with an honorable mention of the Muslim holy site of Mecca. The prophet Mohammed told believers that this should be the central location for the world religion, and it has been so ever since. In fact, it is the formal duty of every believer to visit here at least once in their lifetime. Unfortunately, no external human being outside of the growing worldwide community is allowed to set foot at this “sacred” location, but at least you can face it while praying in any location in the world. Hopefully, that’s good enough.
