Bodh Gaya, India
Another holy site located in Bihar State of India, is a place where the Buddha is said to have become the “Enlightened One”. Bodh Gaya, formerly known as Uruvela before the followers of Buddhism re-christened it, is now home to temples and is still enriched by the Bodhi tree, under which the Buddha reached the point of Zen.
