Five beautiful and enchanting destinations in the quaint beach town of Croatia

Split

Croatia’s second largest city and a port, this is  a historic centre boasting of mesmerizing Gothic and Renaissance architecture with a fourth century well-preserved Diocletian’s Palace, (listed on UNESCO as a famous attraction) Split is situated on a peninsula and the palace belonged to a Roman Emperor that is so huge it can be a whole town in itself. Built of marbles, the palace is almost like a maze with cafes and shops for tourists.

Shopping, taking long strolls on the seaside or swimming at beaches are popular tourist activities out here. There are clubs, boutiques along with churches in ancient architecture and some shops for buying souvenirs as well along the seafront promenade.
