Brazil’s third largest city, Salvador is located on the coast of the Bay of All Saints and can offer opportunities for swimmers, surfers and those in for some relaxed time at the beaches.
Pelourinho being the center for art and history in Salvador, some beautifully vibrant buildings in magnificent and rarely seen structures are visible here. Different cultures and their melting pot makes for a mix of architectural designs even in these colonial buildings. Not much frequented by tourists, this city is said to be rich in European, Brazilian and African cultures.
