Tsomgo Lake
Only Indians are allowed to go to Nathu La Pass that boasts of border gates between India and China on particular days of the week after they take a permit from a legit travel agency in Gangtok. It has a beautifully built war memorial and an exhibition outlet for the Indian Army. Tsomgo Lake also known as Changu Lake, meanwhile, is open to all and is clad in snow for the whole of summers and is nestled at a high altitude of more than 12000 feet. It offers a mystical view and boasts of yaks and ponies that can offer you a ride. Flowers like orchids, colorful poppies and migratory ducks can be seen during different parts of the year.
