The coronavirus vaccine is being administered to a number of people across the globe. Many people have been administered with the vaccine across the United States and other places in the world. More people are now venturing towards travel and people who are fully vaccinated would become more confident towards their future travel plans. Here are a few travel plans for people who will be fully vaccinated.
First of all you need to know what fully vaccinated mean. The body has to develop antibodies after they receive the recommended dosage of the vaccine. After the person has received the final dosage, the waiting period has to be 14 days , which will begin the day after receiving the second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine. If it is a Johnson & Johnson vaccine then it requires only one dose. People who want to travel after getting vaccinated, have to wait till 14 days after receiving the second dose.
The person needs to stay at home if they are showing any potential symptoms. Even after receiving the vaccine the person can still contract the virus. One thing has to be noted that a coronavirus vaccine for children is yet to be released. Pharma giant Moderna is currently testing a vaccine for children and could be administered to children between the ages 6 months and 12 years.
For now, adults who are fully vaccinated, have only a few social distancing restrictions. For now the social distancing measures are in place for people who have not been vaccinated and for the travellers. However , it has to be noted that being fully vaccinated does not give them a free pass to travel without any restrictions. They still need to avoid any travel which is non-essential. The vaccinated people also have to limit exposure to people who are not vaccinated. People who are fully vaccinated can visit people without masks or social distancing with other fully vaccinated people in small groups and the unvaccinated people from a single house hold if they are at low risk.
